Photographs have the incredible ability to tell a story. Most times the stories are happy memories and moments, but sometimes a picture can tell a story that has a lasting impression for the wrong reason. So from a photo of a man stranded just moments away from the Niagra Falls to a very eerie photograph taken during WW1, that shows a shell-shocked soldier during the battle of courcelette.
