A Disney Halloween

This year my family revisited Disney’s Fort Wilderness for the halloween season. It is a tradition we try our best to stick to every year because there is no better time to visit Disney throughout the year, and no better time to be with family. This year was extremely special for us because my baby brother, who is featured in many of these photographs, is now three and half years old and is able to understand where he is. He was very excited to come to Disney and be Captain America for halloween.
The pictures in the beginning show the camp grounds and how some people decorate them. There was even a haunted house that a group of campers set up every year for people to walk through. Some people really go all out when it comes to decoration, they even decorate their golf carts which are the main source of transportation around the camp grounds. The campgrounds have many amenities that provide good, holistic fun. Some pictures display tetherball, the boats that can be rented out, the pool and waterslide that is open to all, and there is some much more.
Staying on the campgrounds is very different from staying a Disney resort. Sometimes you forget that you are staying at Disney because of the lack of the mouse and Disney propaganda. It’s so close to the parks though and takes little to no time to get there. A halloween on the campgrounds in Fort Wilderness is well worth every penny because it is a time of year when family seems the most important with holiday season right around the corner.
