A Means To An End - 5/26/21

This would be out last of our scrimmages at MAC until probably Fall or into October. It was a great run really was for our team up here at this venue but its time to get back outdoors. I may have continued to hold scrimmages and practices at this facility but since Covid restrictions are lifted things are quite chaotic.

Only a few of the hoops are open therefore they are overbooked, a couple hoops are broken which they probably wont repair for months, prices have gone up despite how much I give this facility that includes promoting it, punks cheating our players out of wins, egos, extremely noisy, bullying and were not allowed music yet others are allowed to utilize their bluetooth speakers. Therefore reverting back to outdoors will be a breath of fresh air.

Scrimmages that are team hosts are to develop our strengths and chemistry. Its hard to focus on them when now that the MAC has fully reopened because if all we do is compete it never gives us a chance to work on the team itself. I may have stayed through summer but after a team member decided to play with teens over his own team the entire time, players not getting enough time and all the drama were out. Perhaps by Fall things will calm down a bit its just that their has been quite a bit of cabin fever and now that its over the clowns are starting to come on out.

So this is a means to an end but not an end to our means or a ball for our fan base and those who enjoy following our community sports team. Not only that but their is ONLY three games in this series how many of you ever seen our basketball team turn out only three scrimmages during once practice? Our goal is always ten or more in order to get a full workout and practice in. But when I arrived the place was so packed we could not get on the court for nearly an hour then in the hour we had left it was spent with people trying to grab for power by arguing over who gets the ball, who is on whose team, who are the captains and the game stipulations. We wasted an hour and half doing nothing plus the last game did not film due to a memory card glitch so I was pretty much decided that we would return to Schulz Ranch to ball the rest of the warmer months and so this is where we are at.

I am a hard worker when it comes to running our sports teams and I want the best for the team we cant get the best at the MAC not for what were trying to accomplish and our fans deserve to see more then a few games because others want to hog the court. Plus we had someone quit because of this because they felt that strangers were taking over our team and they were being benched. In order to give my guys equal if not more playing time we can only do that elsewhere because the MAC facility is now open chaotic and strained.

Anyhow, on a good note I did film a few full court games and I got to meet Jame's brother from California who came out to ball with us but expect to see us at our outdoor venue next week! I will miss some of the ballers at the MAC I am by no mean categorizing all people a certain way but if our team is going to make waves we have to put team first not others who waste our time or even short it since practice is a huge part of our success! Our fans, friends and support has been great in our balling endeavors but change is coming!
