Before the infamous Salem Witch Trials, historical discourses on the dangers of Satanic witches and the damnable state of womankind had been in circulation for centuries. Witches were regarded as agents of the devil. Witchcraft was believed to curse and even kill innocent Christians. So, what were the origins of the Salem witch trials?
