On October 27th 2011 during a paranormal investigation to collect additional audio for an event in Bellbrook Ohio, we believe we had an encounter with a bigfoot creature. Two local gentlemen joined us later as they were running away from something they heard in the woods. This whole incident started at 10pm until roughly 11:30pm.
Recently, I developed a better technique for removing noise from EVP's that I've captured. So I decided to go back over the master audio file for this investigation and I'm glad I did. I found additional EVP's, plus was able to clean up most of them.
I decided to make a new video about our encounter that included the new audio as well as video from Magee Park. That way you get an idea of how the whole area is configured. I'm no professional video editor obviously but I think I conveyed as much as I could in order as best as I could.
Now the "chest poundings" we heard do not sound anything like what the Sony 520p digital voice recorder picked up. They sounded just like a big silverback gorilla pounding his chest very close to us. It literally shook the ground beneath our feet. You could tell that whatever it was, was massive. After consulting Joedy Cook, regional bigfoot researcher, he said that they do indeed pound their chests like that especially when you get too close to them. It's their way of defending their space which is what Gorillas do as well. The same goes for the rock throwing that we captured as well.
So, that seems to fit what we heard but we have no definite proof of that. All we know is that we could not reproduce this on any level nor has anyone present ever heard anything like that. As for the growling again we have no reasonable explanation for that. It does not sound like any local animal to include the rare black bear sightings.
Since that night I have gone back not only to explore the area for more evidence but to speak to the locals about it. There were many reports of everything from small juvenile creatures to huge eight footers on the side of the road. One report states that they saw one peeking in their back window and even played around with them while removing groceries from their car. Another resident has a "regular" that he feeds from time to time. Unfortunately he doesnt want us upsetting his visitor. He states that it doesnt harm his dog nor is destructive in any way.
I soon became the hotline for any sightings. I have had numerous calls and investigations which involved public officials and residents. We've yet to nail anything concrete but the word is out and people have been informed. Having informed residents will at least keep them on the lookout and thats really the best way to handle this right now.

I'm basically taking the top 20 or so for each site and resposting. On the investigations page I am keeping a log of which sites have been updated. It has made a major difference in quality and clarity.
