From the source (who is a biologist), after doing some field observations and walking back to the truck at dusk, this creature walked in front of him. He wasn't noticed and followed the creature until he could get his camera on from a safe distance.
The creature appears to be very 'bigfoot' like. It was something the source has never seen before.
