Huge 8 ft. tall Human-like creature caught on tape by unsuspecting tourist. The man who filmed the creature states "the sight of the creature was terrifying." "There was a sense of uneasiness trekking into that part of the wooded forrest and I felt there were eyes watching me the whole time." "I caught something out of the corner of my eye and tried to zoom in on it with my camera, that is when I realized I was not filming a bird or squirrel. I was petrified to see this huge human shaped creature clinging to the tree about 30 ft from the ground, resting on a large branch. It had to have been at least 8ft tall an weighed over 500 pounds. Its head was literally the size of a large watermelon, and it was slowly bobbing it up and down and side to side." "The fear was so intense, all I could do was think about getting the hell out of there as quick a possible."

This incident was filmed on the grounds surrounding Pena Palace, located in Sintra, Portugal mid June of 2010 by a tourist exploring the Palace grounds. A still shot of the beasts head taken from this video appears eerily similar to the Demon Gargoyle that guards the entrance to the Pena Palace . It is one of the most fantastically hideous grotesque gargoyles you could ever wish to see and is shown at the very beginning of this video. The top half of the beast is an ugly human like creature, in his hands he holds the branches of a tree which seems to originate at the back of his head. This may lead one to believe that this was a tree dwelling creature, perhaps the very one that is in this video, and that has terrorized the surrounding forrest of Pena palace.

Is this Bigfoot, or a new Demon creature, The Sintra Devil ????

The Pena National Palace is the oldest palace inspired by European Romanticism. It is located in the civil parish of São Pedro de Penaferrim, municipality of Sintra, Portugal. The palace stands on the top of a hill above the town of Sintra, and on a clear day it can be easily seen from Lisbon and much of its metropolitan area.

A vast forrest area completely surrounds the palace with over 200 hectares of uneven terrain. The forrest contains trees from diverse, distant lands . Those include North American Sequoia, Lawson's Cypress, Magnolia and Western Redcedar,
Chinese Ginkgo, Japanese Cryptomeria, and a wide variety of ferns and tree ferns from Australia and New Zealand. The forrest also has a labyrinthic system of paths and narrow roads, connecting the palace to the points of interest.
The palace's history started in the Middle Ages when a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Pena was built on the top of the hill above Sintra. According to tradition, the construction occurred after an apparition of the Virgin Mary.
