Rock canyon is more like a ravine filled with a shallow creek, thistle brush, foliage and most of all massive rocks. Some of the crevices are deep so we had to take it slow and climb Volkswagen sized boulders to get through it. Our GPS took us the wrong way to the lake actually one of the harder areas to traverse. We were lucky to make it through rock canyon although its some amazing scenery that probably hardly ever sees human activity it was quite challenging residing at over 5k!
