The road less traveled follows ancient paths that the local natives took in the warmer months. Their goal was to climb over the mountains you see to the west to get to the season creeks and some of the higher lakes. They would collect roots, fish, gather berries and hunt in the sierras. While in the cooler months they would take the road less traveled through these foothills hunting jackrabbits and of course the winters within these hills were less harsh then up in the Carson Range to the west in this video as we bike into the wilderness.
