These ruins are said to have the curse of a white witch...Matthew Hopkins witch finder general was said to of haunted the white witch and buried her alive under the altar of the church....As she was being buried the witch who is said to have had a wooden leg shouted she would put a curse on the church...the church built in the 1300s was put into disarray in the 1500s when a oak tree thought to have grown from the the witches wooden leg....could this oak tree grown from the curse of the white witch....I will try to find out tomorrow when I'm going back to the ruins to walk around the tree anti clockwise to see if I can pick up on the witches feelings and then do a necrophonic spirit box to see if we can find out what really happened...
