Tales of the Okefenokee was a dark ride at Six Flags Over Georgia based off of the Uncle Remus stories by Joel Chandler Harris. It opened during the park's opening season in 1967, and closed in 1980. This ride features some creepy looking animatronics, and some frightening imagery.
