This was my first initial visit to one of Nevada's oldest ranches in the state and most wealthy in all of the Carson Valley. Before I was able to talk with curators I had no idea how much history surrounds the lands you see in this short clip. The ranch itself contains over 40,000 artifacts dating back to the early 1800s its a true symbol of early cattle ranching and pioneering of the American west!
