On August 29,2015 the Destination Purgatory Paranormal Investigations Team, Melissa L. Freya and Art Petersen, opened up their investigation of Burn Brae Mansion to the public. Freya and Petersen have been the leading resident Paranormal Team at the mansion for the last six years, with hundreds of hours of evidence logged.

Guest Investigators were given a first hand look at the Paranormal, and the Destination Purgatory Team brought them the experience they were eager to have. Unlike most other Paranormal Teams, Freya and Petersen are both gifted empaths and clairvoyants, which attracts the activity.
