This is the top of Eagle Falls at Emerald Bay off of Lake Tahoe. Our goal is to hike down the side of the falls to a place called Vikingsholm Castle. I took the leap of faith to check out the falls by jumping over rushing water then climbing the rocks to a ledge inches from the falls. It was intense an experience ill never forget as water sprayed a mist onto me. People have fallen over the ledge dying at this site. Emerald Bay is an area where Tessie has been sighted and Bigfoot in the region. We started off the expedition at the falls hiking down to the lake shore.
