This shore served as an access point for the residents of Vikingsholm Castle to and from Fannette Island where a tea house stands upon its hill. Fannette island is the only island in Lake Tahoe. Behind me just a matter of a few feet is the estate. The water from Eagle Falls drains right out onto this beach and into Emerald Bay. I enjoyed my time on the beach as the Dixie and the Tahoe Queen both made passes by as I waved to everyone.
