walking 5th August around the Greenfield reservoir , my friend was talking about the history of the Navvies and Standedge Tunnel .. We have had many EVP in the area and some we believe is in regards to workers of Navvies and deaths around the area back in the late 1700s and 1800s .. Interesting as here we talk of entrances to the Tunnels and we get Six .. when looking up History of the tunnel there is mention of 6 of the 8 vents above the Tunnels .. so are these what we are being corrected with .. workmen would use the vents for access to the Tunnels below ..
