Mentryville ca est 1876 was a Oil Boom town in Newhall California

Run by Superintendent Charles Mentry who ran a tight ship including no Alcohol. but there were perks ahead of his time there was a Blacksmith school house bakery and even a Gas let Tennis Court !

Largely forgotten and not managed by Federal Parks its has slipped thru the cracks

but there is hope!! 23 year old Evan Decker is now the President of Mentryville with
