This video was captured in March 2012, when the Alabama Paranormal Research Team investigated Fort Morgan in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Fort has a long and gruesome history. It was built in 1819 and has been through extensive changes over the last, almost 200 years. It was used to protect inter-coastal waterways from invaders. During the Civil War it was the location of one of America's bloodiest Maritime battles; The Battle of Mobile Bay. US Admiral David Farragut coined one of history's most famous sayings. After entering the bay on attack the Tecumseh hit a mine and sank in under 2 minutes. Though the behind it signaled to Farragut that the ship was lost do to torpedo's (Mines) in the shallows. Farragut shouted "Damn the Torpedo's full speed ahead!"

Other sailors, soldiers and marines lost their lives here and were also held as POW's. During the Spanish American war and World War I and II it was modified and used to protect from potential assault from Neighboring countries. Many lives have been lost here at Fort Morgan and the Alabama Paranormal Research Team believe that the spirits of the old fort are indeed still lingering this notoriously haunted location!

Could this be the spirit of the civil war deceased slamming the door?
