“This doll really gave my aunt and me the creeps because it just started walking and talking, and when my aunt went and checked it the switch was turned off. So, she decided that the switch must be broken, and we went to get a screwdriver out of the tool drawer to take the batteries out. She took the batteries out, and we continued playing when the doll started walking and talking again. She then accused me of messing with her and putting the batteries back in when she wasn’t looking, and I swore up and down that I didn’t put them back in. So, she checked, and sure enough there were no batteries in the doll. Then we began to cry and freak out because it scared us, so we locked it in the closet. And I should specify that the feet on this doll were not very big so there is no way that it could land on its feet if it were thrown.”
