The second chapter of the special four part Visual Paranormal Investigations United Kingdom investigations. The "Old Bell" is the oldest hotel in England. The hotel began as lodging for the builders of the adjacent abbey when it was built nine hundred years ago. It was originally named "The Castle". The forests surrounding the hotel was a favorite hunting destination of King Henry VIII who there many times during his reign. The name "The Castle" was eventually changed to the" Old Bell" The east wing of hotel was partially built on the graveyard the abbey. The "Grey Lady" is the most reported ghost seen in the hotel. The identity of the "Grey Lady" remains a mystery though she is believed to have been a bride who was left at the alter in the abbey who hung herself in the James Ody room of the hotel. Nell and Steve conduct a number of sessions during their two night investigation of the hotel. They interview the hotel's night porter Robert Simmonds an eyewitness who has both seen the "Grey Lady" and experienced a number of paranormal events. During they stay Nell and Steve are able to document e.v.p.'s, audible disembodied voices, possible light anomalies and relevant responses though both the "Spirit Box" and the "Ovilus".
