EVP of the sound of machine guns and voices by us as we took photos on a quite morning at the area which once was Ashway Gap House . Not heard at time and no one was around at the area at the time either.. the voices were captured as I left a recorder sitting on an old stone wall .. October 2021 . Later we sat in the Clarence , apart from a bit of music and two female staff it was just us . we left the recorder by us in a corner and had a young male join in as we spoke of some of the people who had used the pub .. those going back to the 1800s when the building was used for inquests on accidents around the valleys .. and also murders .. The likes of Ian Brady and Myra Hindley and also Jimmy Savile used the pub in the 60s ..
Thanks for listening. We have picked up many EVP voices and other sounds over 16 years as a group in various locations .. Gunfire or banging sounds in Hyde Town Hall in 2011 .. and much caught in Halls and private homes.. all on our two channels .
