Several Ghosts and Spirits communicated repeatedly, never changing their stories over the course of several weeks. I do feel, if guided with questions, the iOvilus can be a very useful tool in supplementing your EVP audio recorder, EMF Detector, and video and still cameras in Paranormal Investigation and Ghost Hunting (especially if you don't want to invest $600 in the Ovilus, PX, Ovilus II, Ovilus X, Paranormal Puck, or any other ITC device). If you do not try to communicate it will simply spit words out or say nothing at all, so treat it more like a ghost box or spirit box at the beginning and you will be amazed at how accurate the ITC iOvilus App can be.

ITC stands for Instrumental Trans Communications: similar devices have been seen on popular ghost hunting shows such as Zak Baggans' Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters but, as previously stated, cost hundreds of dollars (I don't recall any instruments being used on the Dead Files, the Haunted, or the Haunting of). If you are starting out as a Paranormal Investigator, want to go Ghost Hunting, or are experiencing a haunting or seeing apparitions, I recommend getting an EMF detector, digital audio recorder, and video and still cameras. A cheaper solution to the ovilus is the Spirit Box or Ghost Box, which cost around $80.
