The smoke from the fires in California and other states have put Nevada as an epicenter for smoke and ash to fall. The only thing we could see is merely a few hills surrounding us. The scene was a bit disturbing as we hooped and could smell wood burning in the air like being in war zone. Our team decided to practice despite the intense smoke we as humans have to challenge ourselves and beat whatever obstacle stands in our path. James brought his giant ass bluetooth speaker ill have to film it during our next practice just next time make sure you charge it lol. We had music for a good fifteen minutes at least! With that being said we practice with some fun shooting then loosen up with a game of 21 or rather every man for himself. We then play five games of two on two. Lots of shots very high wins some 40 mph gusts at times making it very difficult to swish them. Again challenges white smoke everywhere, high winds and some great competition as I alternate the players each game so we could practice working together on passing and shooting. Its good to see James is back from a broken eye socket and nose. He finally got a mask to protect himself and he had some really great moves on the court so pay attention to how well we have grown together as were nearing the end of summer. With the NFL back and dark setting in soon practice schedules will change but I have a feeling the smoke will not for awhile!
