This Historic plantation built in 1849 , was once part of the Famous Berkeley Plantation and was used heavily by both sides during the civil war. It is also the site of the Benjamin Harris grist mill built in 1725. One of the Hauntings that is said to occur there is that of a young woman named Lizzie Rowland who was waiting for her lover to return from the civil war and he never returned and it is said that she still waits for him till this day. Also it is thought that a man hung himself in the old Grist mill on the property.
