We spent 9 months investigating this house. The family that lived there had so many problems. Dave, owner, called me night and day about things happening around there. It was him his girlfriend and her 11 yr old daughter. The claims were, someone beating on the front and back doors at night....when he went to the door with his baseball bat no one was there. This place is very remote and he had no enemies or prankster friends. They would hear and feel ground shaking thumps coming from the basement. They heard old 20's music coming from the basement, furniture would move on its own, kitchen cabinets would open and close all the time, phones ringing and that was inside the house. In the barn it was heavy footsteps and more malevolent activity. They heard voices and smelled sulfur, saw shadows moving about etc...
Now, when they were home we had activity but when they were gone there was nothing. Had we been at the level we are now, then, we would have had some resolution for both or all parties. Hence we didnt capture any evp's but we did capture a few videos.
The kitchen video appears sketchy and hindsight tells us that we should have taken photos of the camera setup then....like we do now because of this investigation. We would have proven that there was nothing behind the camera. It was so far in the corner that we I changed tapes I had to do it from the front of the cam as there was no room to get behind it. We had a 23 yr retired police officer with us who will testify that this had to have been real paranormal activity.
We had a medium join us one night and she felt something real dark and menacing. She looked into one of the closets and noticed some type of symbols on the walls....she started looking around and under the carpet in the dining was a huge so called "protective circle" that had symbols and looked like something ritualistic not pagan. Anyhoo, she said it was done wrong whoever did it. Unfortunately we had some photos but they left with the medium out west. We were noobie investigators and really didnt document very well unlike today. I wish the place was still there so we could revisit and actually have something to back these vids up with......We still havent had a case wuite like this one. The people who lived there were forced out by eminent domain as the county was expanding the airport. They were paid a happy sum and fled like overnight.
