This investigation took place at Mary Haven, Warren County Orphan Asylum and Childrens Home just outside of Lebanon Ohio.
It was a fluke that I captured this much activity at a location without even stepping foot inside. When I moved to Lebanon I this place looked and felt haunted so I went up there and it was all locked up. I just walked around and checked it out. Months later I got some friends together from our paranormal group and we spent the night outside walking around asking questions. We reviewed the audio at my place and were stunned. We went back a few more times and it just got better and better. We ended up meeting with the Booth Brothers from SyFy and they wanted to film this place for Children of the Grave 2. My hope was that all the attention would spark some interest and they would want to save the building. It was going to cost $5 million bucks to do it though. Had they only installed a new roof a couple of years prior it wouldnt have cost that much and may have actually happened. However, thats not the case. When we were trying to get things setup for the Booth Brothers, a few weeks prior the floors inside collapsed. We were stunned yet again....much differently this time. Even though we signed wavers the engineers said it was too dangerous thus the deal was over. My heart broke because I knew it was the end of this place... I felt like I was their last chance at getting out of there and not looking back.
It's never far from my thoughts and I believe some of the spirits now reside in my home....which is fine with me.
