It is said that people used to visit the graveyard and dig up bodies to use for satanic rituals. The "devil's child" is said to be buried there, as a plant has consistently grown in the shape of a pitchfork on her grave for years. Main Street is surrounded by woods and fields. The gravel path that leads back to the cemetery is about 1/4 mile long. Once you make it to the end of the path, you must turn left or right and follow the path, which is a circle through and around the cemetery. Graves dating back to the 19th Century sit atop the hill.
