Again with a disclaimer you do not NEED a spirit box enhancer it’s optional. If you are happy using a spirit box radio with a speaker then that is absolutely fine if you so wish

These materials and products are EXACTLY what I use on my enhancer box. You can experiment with other amps and pedals if you so wish it’s up to you if you want to experiment and such. Also it is always cheaper to build it yourself.
