A lot of ghost hunters have been trying to use it after seeing it done on Ghost Adventures. However there are a few problems when using one. If the cam is pointing at a lamp, a tripod, a plant, sometimes even a chair, it will map the subject in as a stick figure. It was created to map the human body for games on the XBoX. So when you point it at something like a tripod that has legs, it maps it in as a stick figure with legs. in this video, my cam is pointing at my room and is mapping my chair, which has arms, as a stick figure. You can see me sitting next to it in purple, and the chair in blue. But we are both mapped in as stick figures because the chair has arms!

If you are a ghost hunter and are going to experiment using the Kinectcam, please be aware of things being mapped in by mistake. They are NOT paranormal.
