This is a journey that will include us saving a lost puppy, allot of lakes and even some humor. The Lakes Basin area is home to over 50 lakes also bigfoot and even some mysterious petroglyphs which we will take you too. Our journey will begin up near the Historic Elwell Lodge to Long, Silver, Round, Cub, Little Bear and Big Bear Lakes. Will cross the creek ending up walking through the 1920's Elwell Lodge on the return trip back. Then I will take you offroading where we will hike along a historic trail out to Frazier Falls along Frazier Creek. This is one of the tallest most majestic waterfalls in the sierras. Our last stop of the day will be at the spillway/falls of Gold Lake where we will stop before the basin below the snowcapped Sierra Buttes. Considering this an introduction and a taste of things to come. I know the movie is a little long but I pieced my entire journey together so that our viewers could really become a part of something special. While we may not have found the mighty king of the forest Bigfoot we did find serenity in the nature and remoteness found within this glacial basin.
