This by far was a great team practice almost our entire team showed up in fact they all made it to the MAC prior to me which tells me how bad they want to compete. These guys are working hard as a coach real proud of how far they have come and how far we as a team keep coming. Games are close and the synergy is there!

Make no mistake about it the play is nearly top of the line were ready but still more work to be done like better ball movement and getting rebounds to put in. I came out on fire in the first game with a three, couple twos and an assist or two. Later on I primarily worked on defense got a few here and there. But left it up to the offense to practice scoring while I moved around the key.

Reason why I call it launch paradise is Luke was launching balls like footballs passing 40 to 50 feet to me. The other team had a hard time stopping me once I got them passes that was it I had nothing but the hoop to drive to. Admittedly the defense stopped me most of the time only because they did everything they could to interfere with my layups. I think my arms were to tired to even get the ball int he hoop but we can still use the same model in the future.

Basketball is a fast sport if you have to think about what your doing your going to lose the ball or miss an opportunity. Luke wasted not time soon as that ball fell into his hands he launched it as I sprinted catching it and driving. Those burst of speed are going to help us especially against teams that have defenses that have issues getting on back or matching our speed. We have to take risk we have to move that ball across the court quick so Luke did just that and was solid on the court setting up these plays.

Everyone else on the team did a great job to some good passing, overall great shots and those games were close because all of us are stepping up doing our jobs. Therefore, games are lost to only one score which as a coach is something I enjoy seeing because it means that were all running like a smooth well oiled engine in sync and responding every time our opponents score vice versa on that court. So plenty of back and forth ball eight great full court games and some practice shots in the beginning just to get warmed up!
