GROUNDED SPIRITS
One of the main causes of Paranormal activity is a spirit that has been grounded in this reality and has not had the opportunity to move on to the next stage in their life, whether this is proof of the existence of an afterlife, or a build up of psychic energy resulting from a traumatic event is unknown, but the ability these spirits have to travel from place to place, by attaching themselves to the souls of the living (in this reality) would suggest evidence to the former to be true in some regards.
From our experience, a grounded spirit finds themselves after the moment of death consumed by a life situation, whether this be concern about an event that has taken place in their life, or a loved one still here on the earth plane, the result is the same. It is also possible, for a fragment of a person’s energy to be trapped also, meaning that not all of that person’s consciousness has passed over. From the point of view of this spirit, time can move differently to how we on earth perceive it, and for them, minutes may have taken place since their passing and for us years, if not decades could have gone by.
In many cases, the activity experienced is the result of a spirit, trying to get attention as a cry for help, or the trauma that spirit is experiencing manifesting itself in a physical way. This can be determined by studying the case in question and what activity is being experienced. Spirits that have been disconnected from source, need energy to survive and therefore will use our energy to get their message across. One of the duties of a paranormal investigator should be to help these spirits cross over. However it is worth noting that all will take the opportunity, as the spirit still hold the same belief systems, customs and ways of thinking they had when they were living in the physical realms.
