The parlor here differs from the ones we see today in it was an old piano, lavish furniture and even a mantle which also can be seen in the White House where Lincoln slept. If you pay very close attention there is also a silverware set John had specially made for his wife Marie Louise Hungerford who is said to haunt the mansion and even a painting of John Mackay himself.
