A good portion of this video is our journey home from Folsom California to the Nevada. A snowstorm is brewing you cannot even see most of the peaks through the national forest. I know its not the most exciting video but it kind of puts into perspective what winter is like in the high sierras and what it is like to traverse them in the cooler months. Generally the snow should be much higher but this is the first snowfall in months here which is responsible for all the waterfalls, lakes and in the Spring lush meadows. It is hard to believe the weather was so nice in Folsom and once we crossed into the higher sierras everything was at a standstill.
