The rest of the journey is where we make our decent back into Virginia City started at the top of the Virginia Range. On the way I come across a group of wild Mustangs. The wild horses really is a good enough reason alone to spend a day jeeping up here rather then be in town. Once again we would have to traverse the cliffs and take narrow dirt roads. I do stop briefly although I do not announce it at one of the old Yellow Jacket Mine shafts which today is merely a dump pile as we make our way off the range. The views are nice as we traverse rolling hills and old wagon roads that miners at one time utilized. We were excited to spend a day hiking, exploring and enjoying the wild horses. We could not wait to make it back into Virginia City where we would dine at the historic Delta Saloon.
