Here is just a small taster of my late Regency England period piece, `Murder in the Red Barn`.
A tale concerning the murder of Maria Marten who was brutally killed by her lover, William Corder in 1827. Having buried her remains in the floor of the old Red Barn in Polstead, Essex, her body was later found by her father following dream visions of the killing by her step-mother.
Corder was later tracked to London and arrested. Following a trial in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, Corder was found guilty and hung.
His body was then dissected by the medical profession with parts of his body being preserved for posterity. Today, a mould of his death mask still survives as well as his scalp and skin which was used as a book cover. But in the years following his death, Corder allegedly haunts his old place of imprisonment with many stories attesting to Corder`s hauntings - which included his preserved skull, a story I will share in this para-documentary presented by Chris Halton, and shot entirely on location in Suffolk.
This will be my best work to date.
Hopefully the entire video will be released later in June 2016 .
