While doing an investigation at the Ghost Town of Renrock,Ohio (now long gone) I encountered something weird. We were doing EVP recordings, while I was walking around with the camcorder I heard with my own ears some very faint church-like music. We also recorded a couple of spirits possibly talking to each other,one said "try and make it back" (male voice) and right after a second voice said " when I get back..with it" (female voice).It is very rare that we actually hear the voices while at a location,I heard this one but my son who was right behind me with the digital recorder did not and it was the digital recorder that got the clearest audio of it. The town of Renrock originally was called simply Dye Settlement after the Dye family that lived there.The Dye family was quite large as were most families back in those days.There are 2 cemeteries here,one is the Dye family cemetery and the town cemetery and that is the only thing still remaining of the once small farming comunitiy except for an old bridge span over a small creek in the woods(no road anymore).
