Nevada Ghosts, Part 5: Haunted Hotels of the Silver State

The Silver State has no shortage of hotels that are supposed to be Haunted. Just a short list includes: The Hotel Nevada in Ely, Boulder Dam Hotel in Boulder City, The Goldfield Hotel, The Silver Queen Hotel in Virginia City, The Gold Hill Hotel and even The Luxor in Las Vegas.

In this story I wrote and voiced in October 2002 as a lead up to Halloween for radio station KKOH in Reno, Nevada we'll check-in to a room at the Haunted Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah, Nevada. Even Paranormal Debunker, Bill Oberding won't be able to explain when a "Woman in White" crosses our path.

As Honorary Mayor of Virginia City I want to advise you that a trip to Reno, Lake Tahoe or Carson City is not complete without a visit to Virginia City and the Comstock.

You can learn more about ghosts of Virginia City and other Nevada spirits at Janice Oberding's website where you can also purchase her books "Ghosthunters Guide to Virginia City" and "Haunted Nevada".

You might also be interested in checking out the website of my friend, Sandie LaNae, who is a local psychic and author: Two of Sandie's books, "Spirit Sightings" and "Silver Ghosts" have stories contributed by myself.
