Ved å skru på hodet til MagLite-lommelykter er det lett å få til denne effekten, der lykten går av og på av seg selv. Man kan også skru på batteridekselet i andre enden. Jeg håper du ikke lurer hverken deg selv eller andre til å tro at dette skyldes spøkelser. Det er bare et enkelt triks og litt fysikk.

It's easy to do this trick. Use a normal MagLite torch and turn it's head to the exact point between where it is on an off, so that you can see it flicker and glow. Put the torch on a table or wherever you like. Watch. If it doesn't work, tap it a few times, or twist the head a bit forth and back. You can also loosen the battery cap at the other end to make the same effect. The reason why this works is simply that the tiny grooves makes it very easy to find the exact point between on and off. Any tiny shaking, change of temperature, sound or other disturbance will turn it on and off. Try it yourself! Please don't fool yourself or anyone else telling them it is a ghost. It's just a simple trick and physics in the real world.
