Did Nostradamus predict the terrorist attacks (Or convoluted government conspiracy) on september 11th 2001? Here I take a look at two quatrains, that are supposedly predicting 9/11 with Peter LeMesurier. A linguist, and the man widely acknowledged as the English speaking world's foremost authority on the subject of Nostradamus.

Century I Quatrain 87

Earthshaking fire from the center of the earth
will cause tremors around the New City.
Two great rocks will war for a long time,
then Arethusa will redden a new river.

Century XI Quatrain 97

The sky will burn at forty-five degrees,
fire approaches the great New City.
Immediately a huge, scattered flame leaps up
when they want to have proof of the Normans.

Sure....sounds just like aeroplanes and office blocks to me.
