NTParanormal: After Dark (A.W. Perry Homestead Museum)

We investigate claims of paranormal activity at the museum and the surrounding grounds.

In 2016 we were invited to participate in the A.W. Perry Homestead Museum Paranormal Porch Panel along with two other groups to discuss personal experiences, investigations, and local history. This year not only were we invited back as speakers but allowed to investigate the house over night making us the first and only paranormal investigation group to have the opportunity.

A.W. Perry Homestead Museum
The A.W. Perry Homestead Museum offers a glimpse of life as it was in north central Texas at the turn of the 20th Century. A.W. and Sarah (Huffman) Perry were pioneer homesteaders of Peters Colony who came to Carrollton in the year 1844 from Carrollton, Illinois. They claimed 640 acres and built a house on this farm in 1857. In 1909, their son Dewitt Perry and his wife Francis (Grimes) tore down the first house and used some of the lumber to build the present day house. This structure is now the Museum, restored in 1976 for the bicentennial. You can still find the foundation stones of the first Perry farmhouse in the backyard of the Museum. Designated a historic landmark in 1977 by the Texas Historical Commission.

NTParanormal Investigations
NTPI is a group of paranormal researchers based out of Fort Worth, Texas. It is our goal to study paranormal activity through the use of the scientific method, experiments, and documentation to prove or disprove the existence of unexplained supernatural phenomenon in any locations that we are called to investigate. North Texas Paranormal investigates both residential and public locations on a regular basis and is available on weekends for field research upon request. We are always happy to help people who are looking for answers about suspected activity in their homes or businesses with the intent to prove or disprove (debunk) the suspected activity in question. Though we are located in the North Texas region, we have group members all over the country and conduct investigations anywhere the opportunity presents itself.
