In this video I take you through the step by step process of removing an IR filter from a digital camera. This modification will allow the camera to capture images in the full color spectrum as well as allow it to record images in complete darkness with the aid of an IR lighting source (invisible to the human eye.) While we use this for our investigations, there are many applications for cameras that can record in full spectrum.
