The guided tour will take you through the grounds of what was the NV State Orphans Asylum built in the 1870s a fire in 1902 burnt it down. It was renovated and rebuilt as the dormitories were very large Victorian buildings with a cupola. In 1963 it was all taken down and in its places cottages were built leaving behind empty patches of grass where the annexes once stood. Today not much remains but a park in its place an a very old Gymnasium built out of sandstone which dates back to the 1800's.
