The haunted Stagecoach Inn was recognized as a historical land mark by the state of Ohio 2002. Local legend and credible psychic mediums such as Linda Dix claim that a runaway slave was once captured and then murdered on the grounds. Some wonder if this legend could be partially to blame for the abnormally high amount of paranormal activity that occurs at the Inn. Many owners have come and gone since the Inn’s construction ended back in 1836. Could the spirit of one of the previous owners have stayed behind to carefully watch over the building?
