My Haunted Diary episode with paranormal explorer James Edward Garcia during his urban explorations or ParaUrbex at Pilgrim Psychiatric Center back in 2014.

In this episode, I will start off by returning to the old Power Plant looking for a way up to the top from the main building. But it was a failed attempt due to the heavy rains that took place the night before making it a wet and messy affair.

After that I head over to the connected buildings on the far left. Again I get plenty of EVP’s and disembodied voices but I still conducted a spirit box session with validating communication from the other side.

Visually I capture shadow activity and at one point some object or creature that whips around as my camera was panning. Also there was an illuminating anomaly that looks like upper half of a torso in the Cafeteria or Dining Hall along with an EVP that happens in unison.

I found paper work in a dining hall that contained patient transfers from Kings Park Psychiatric Center to Pilgrim State Hospital.

I cover a little history related subjects about this place, including drawings of the future town center integrating the old Water Tower, seen in Episode 1. I show segments of a 1946 film “Let There Be Light” that was filmed at the one time extended Pilgrim Hospital called Edgewood State Hospital in Deer Park, NY. There are some clips at Pilgrim in Brentwood, NY as well. I play crude footage showcasing the demolition of the large 102 building at Edgewood in 1989.
