2015 981 Porsche Boxster 2.7 exhaust tailpipes comparison.

First up is the standard tailpipe that comes with the 2.7 Boxster. The second clip is the same Boxster with the Sports tailpipes installed. I will let you be the judge if you think one sounds better than the other. Looks wise, the Sports tailpipes are definitely sexier by far! The Sports tailpipes were $1150 AU plus $350 AU for installation at my local Porsche dealer, Porsche Centre Townsville. There is actually quite a bit of work involved in changing the standard tailpipe over to the Sports tailpipes. I thought it was something I might be able to do myself, but far easier to have the dealership do it. Then it is covered under my warranty.

I am having the sports tailpipes installed on my 2016 Cayenne Diesel in a couple of days, and will upload a similar video to compare on that.
