1450 years ago on 22nd August 565, St Columba had the first recorded sighting of Nessie**** apparently saving a swimmer from becoming its dinner.
Since then, legends of the monster were passed from generation to generation, but the creature’s popularity reached an unprecedented height in 1933.
In April 1960, Tim caught sight of an object travelling in a zigzag pattern at a speed estimated to be 7-10 mph, and recorded a 60-second sequence on film.
Over the next 27 years until his death, the father-of-four made many expeditions from his Reading home to gather further proof that would back up the grainy footage.
Angus Dinsdale has monster hunting in his blood. Born on the very day his father present his famous film to the British nation on the BBC programme, Panorama.
Angus grew up in a household where searching for the Loch Ness monster was his father's full-time - and perfectly acceptable - occupation.
