Episode 77: On this episode, former award winning New York Times reporter, Ralph Blumenthal, joins me to talk about his latest book, The Believer: Alien Abductions, Hard Science and the Passion of John Mack. John talked about the courageous efforts of Dr. John Mack, who despite being a highly esteemed professor and Head of Psychiatry at Harvard, chose to research the Alien Abduction phenomena. Ralph talked about how John believed that the people's stories that he researched were legitimate and that these people were not seeking publicity and were not afflicted with mental conditions John Mack chose to continue researching Alien Abductions, even after being investigated by Harvard. After they investigated him, they found no wrong and he continued in his position at Harvard. John was introduced to the Alien Abduction phenomena by another great researcher, Bud Hopkins. Ralph also talked about his work on the earth shattering December 2017 New York Times Article he contributed on, where they reported on the Pentagon's study of the UFOs under the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) and about F/A-18 pilot's encounters with UFOs from the USS Nimitz in 2004, off the coast of San Diego, to include the eyewitness testimony of Commander David Fravor. We also discussed where he thinks UFO disclosure efforts may be going and about even touched on what US President's may have known about the UFO subject.
