Honestly, one of the best practices of the year! Most of the team came out had a couple who had to work but that puts the roster up to at least nine of us now. So the team is really taking on off and it shows in this reel. We have two new players that we signed up as well they will be a great asset to our offensive front since that was an area I been slowly trying to put together.

This reel starts off with 3 on 3 two games in a row till others show up. I always try to start our scrimmages off during practice with either a game of 21 or at least with a smaller half court game. For me I know it takes a few games to really get warmed up defensively and offensively. Some players may not need that time but I do given my health conditions I have to have that time to evolve and stretch a little by loosening up.

The next seven games are all full court the defensive is top notch, steals, blocks, falls, threes and more then anything rushes to the net. Particularly by me who really never drives to the net kind of shocked my team a little lol. I only usually will rush to the net if their is a path to it or I think I can take on the defense due to my size and strength to push forward. But those rushes make the difference and that confidence to take the ball all the way takes time.

I always tell my players only rush to the net if you are sure you can take it otherwise pass it off and set it up like an art. But rushing is an art to and its more beautiful when you score despite the defense trying to stop it so plenty of rushing and driving you should enjoy this practice. Plenty of confidence and risk plays games were all very close basically whoever scored finished each game but no blowouts thrilling to the last basket per scrimmage.

New players, new play style and a new outlook on things. I am very proud of our players they came out to compete practice or not the work they put in just shows and you can see it here. We got a great team and a mix of talent. The players are versatile on defense and offense. The ball movement is looking pretty nice to although we need to increase it a little more I think we have the right idea. Were building confidence rushing to the net converting for two and it can only get better from here on out so worth two hours of your time! Great job team GO PHANTOMS!
