From about 1907 to the 1920s these mines had produced over 2 million dollars in gold. What you are looking at in this clip is remnants of the Tunnel mining camp. The goal was to build a tunnel that would connect with the vein in old Seven Troughs. The ore then could be transported here for the processing of its gold. Hence the stamp machine and mill ruins you see in this video.
